You're probably wondering why I'm posting pictures of my dirty jugs right now, aren't you? Hey, get your mind out of the gutter, I'm talking about my milk jugs. I guess that doesn't actually sound much better, does it? Anyway, I had just finished making dinner last night and called the family to come gather in the kitchen to get their plates ready...

Hood decided that cows are increasingly unpopular - so they decided to milk oats...sorta.

I grew up drinking raw milk. I'm relatively okay :-) I love it and soon, Maine farmers may be able to sell it without a license. Good news for them and us lovers of milk in it's purest, if not safest, form!

Tomorrow a storm is coming, and it looks like we’re getting hammered again in the latter part of the upcoming weekend. A storm is is in the forecast for Sunday night into Monday morning. What do you do to prepare for storms? Do you go out and get extra milk and bread? Maybe you buy gallons of water? How about beer for a storm party?

I never cared for yogurt before this morning but, after two young women, Ellen and Kelly, stopped in with some (mixed into a delightful concoction), I LOVE it!

My favorite part of a bowl or Froot Loops or Cocoa Pebbles was always drinking the great tasting milk once the cereal was gone. Now, you can get the same benefit without the pesky cereal!

Artist Jen Miller dream thought up an idea that seemed right for the times.  She thought that since nursing mothers are discouraged from breastfeeding their babies in public places like malls, restaurants and other venues, she would create a mobile unit (a converted ice cream truck) for mothers to gather and nurse in....
