Monday, May 30 is Memorial Day and many Mainers will take the time to either watch or participate in their hometown parades and ceremonies. We have put together a list of area parades and ceremonies in central Maine.

All events are on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, unless specified.

The Maine Lobster Festival Parade in Rockland was delayed about 20 minutes, (August 2) Saturday,  after a Kora Temple Shrine go-cart drove onto the sidewalk on Main Street and injured three.

Albion: Parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the Besse Building. Anson: Parade will start at 10 a.m. at the Anson School and continue across the bridge into Madison.
