The ice buckets in the recalled units have a component that can break off, enter your ice bucket, and possibly enter your cup and pose a choking hazard.
It's never good when an item that pretty much everyone has and used every single day gets recalled. But unfortunately, that's exactly what has happened.
The USDA has issued a list of stores where the ground beef recalled for E. coli was sold, but says there are other stores not on the list that may have sold the meat. Here is the list of retailers known to have sold the recalled ground beef.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that Creation Gardens Inc. "is recalling approximately 22,832 pounds of raw ground beef and beef primal cut products that may be contaminated with E. coli."
