At one point in time, Mixers hosted an array of A, B, C, and D-list celebrities in Sabattus, Maine. Here's what I remember.

According to WMTW, a 2.2 magnitude earthquake has struck Sabattus. According to USGS National Earthquake Information Center, the quake occurred at about 5:45 PM on Sunday (Febuary 23rd). People as far away as Lewiston reported feeling their homes shake...

It all starts tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 23. Sabattus Disc Golf will host The Professional Disc Golf Association's 2016 United States Women's Disc Golf Championship. The event runs through the weekend.

One of the things I would really like to try and haven't done yet, is go disc golfing. Heck, I just about majored in frisbee in college. Disc golf is one of the fastest growing recreational sports and now a local business has been chosen to host a national event. Mike and Sue Jillson are terrific people and they run a great business. Actually, two great businesses. The original Fielder's Choice Ice Cream is on Route 126 in Sabattus and the newer one is on Route 202 in Manchester. Both pride themselves in fresh, homemade ice cream at very fair prices!
