Nick LeGrand is a 13-year old baseball player from Kansa City, MO who has a rare blood disorder called severe aplastic anemia. This year he was told he couldn't play his favorite sport, baseball. However, tonight (6/12) he will get to throw out the first pitch at the Oakland Athletics/New York Yankees game. He will do it from 1,800 miles away.
