It's our favorite day of the year, our annual Requestathon for Special Olympics Maine. For the past 16 years, we have done this event on the second Thursday in June, in conjunction with the Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run. This year we are going even bigger!

There was no ice this year at Winthrop Town Beach on Maranacook Lake for the 3rd Annual 'Ice Out Plunge,' but there were plenty of brave souls with big hearts to support Special Olympics Maine and the Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run.
