A popular YouTube weather analyst breaks down historical data and predicts that Maine and New Hampshire could see a "Big Daddy" snowstorm this winter

The annual Farmers' Almanac thinks you should circle three dates on the calendar, as they predict when major storms will hit Maine and New Hampshire.

Based on the total natural disasters over the past 70 years, Maine and New Hampshire rank as two of the best states to avoid natural calamity in the nation.

Following an intense pair of hot days, forecast models are lining up to promise a month's worth of rain for Maine, including a potential nor'easter.

As I was getting ready to write this article it occurred to me (okay fine, a coworker told me) that Tuesday is Groundhog Day.

I've lived in Maine my whole life and after hearing about the next Nor'easter I learned that I was completely wrong about them!

Normally, we think of nor'easters as being a winter thing, but they can occur in other times of the year... Like, the middle of October!

The hurricane will not touch Maine directly, but we could still see rain and winds from the storm
