I met a stranger at four in the morning on the 4th of July in 2021 at the Portland Emergency Vet, and I still think about it today.

My Maine cat got so ill, that we were planning his death but miraculously, this happened and I still cannot believe my eyes.

I didn't even know the North Pole had a vet....and this time of year, he has one very important job.
