Congratulations to Franklin Altenative School in Auburn. Ten Franklin Alternative School students are going to President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony. Some students at the school are really into civics, loved the mock debates and elections and the political process in general, so the school wanted these enthused students to go to D.C. for the Presidential inauguration.

Watching Felix Baumgartner do the 24 mile high skydive yesterday reminded me of the movie at the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum. The Air and Space Museum has a few IMAX films they show, but for some reason the two times I’ve gone I've seen the same film entitled ‘To Fly.’ The film goes from balloon travel to the NASA space shuttles.
