It's fair season once again, and the Windsor Fair is starting on Sunday, Aug. 26!

Well, the Windsor Fair is here. Since I was a kid, the fair has marked the end of summer, despite what the calendar says. Back to school, close the pool, store the boat, sell the goat. Okay, that last one was just complete the rhyming thing I had going.

Headed to the Great Windsor Fair on Tuesday!  Even if there are a few showers it will be fun. There is so much to do.  They had a great opening day!  I love going to the petting zoo, eating fair food and getting a real lemon aid.

The 'Miss Windsor Fair' Pageant was held last night at the 'Great Windsor Fair.' Brittany Bearden of Presque Isle was crowned as this year's winner. She is currently attending UMPI. Brittany received a $1,000 college scholarship and full entry to the Miss Maine USA pageant. The total prize package for the pageant was valued at over $5,000.
