Today in History: May 23rd
Each day around 10:20 am and 2:20 pm we step into a time machine and take a look back. Who was born? What was going on in the world? What happened in music?
Today on May 23rd...
In 1966-H. Jon Benjamin was born. You may not recognize his face unless you're a fan of Arby's commercials, but Benjamin is the voice behind Archer from the animated series of the same name, and Bob from "Bob's Burgers"! He turns 53 today.
In 1999-WWF Superstar Owen Hart died tragically after falling 78 feet from a cable as he was being lowered into the ring at a show in Kansas City.
In 2000-Eminem's album "The Marshall Mathers LP" which featured hits such as "Stan" and "The Real Slim Shady" was released and debuted at #1 on the charts with 1.76 million copies sold in one week.
And that's what happened today in history.
