See the Progress of the ‘Travis Mills Foundation’s Maine Chance Lodge Veterans Retreat’

Saturday, July 23, you are invited to visit the Travis Mills Foundation's Maine Chance Lodge Veterans Retreat in Rome. The event, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, is being held so you can see the progress of the construction.

Things get underway at 1:00pm and auction winners will be announced at 4:00pm. There will also be live music and food trucks.

The retreat's mission is described at the Travis Mills website.

The retreat will be uniquely designed to provide state-of-the-art “smart home” technology in a relaxed lodge setting. It will fill a vital role in recovery, camaraderie, spousal support, re-connection, and reintegration. Veteran families from all over the United States will enjoy a week of swimming, boating, fishing, site-seeing, campfires, adaptive sports, and spa treatments including massage, facials, and yoga.
