The 'Moose is Loose' this Wednesday (May 20) at the annual 'VA 2K Walk & Roll' at the VA Medical Center - Togus, Augusta. It's sponsored by the VA Maine Healthcare Systems to raise awareness of the needs of Maine's homeless veterans and to support employee health and wellness. It's estimated that at any given time there are more than 100 homeless veterans in Maine, suffering from lack of a place to live and other basic necessities. This is a great, fun way you can help.

Renee Nelson will be broadcasting live at the Togus event, starting at 11am.

Recommended Donations (new items): Coffee maker, microwave, sheets, pillows, dishes, silverware, glasses, towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, toaster, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Gift cards (gas, phone, food, etc.) are always a great donation.
