Cheering has been Meghan Webster's passion for as long as she can remember. As a member of the Auburn Wreckers, she has earned a unique opportunity to perform as part of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade this December in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Her aunt, Heather Chamberlin, wrote to us on Facebook about her sister and her talented daughter:

Q97.9 has been a part of my family for over as far back as we can remember! Meredith actually came to my school to personally wish my sister Kristi a happy birthday because they forgot to wish her a happy birthday on the radio and brought goodies. She went into school crying and my mother called and told them what happened. My sister is now 33 and has since recovered lol she was probably in 3rd grade!

This story is actually about her daughter. We’ve been long-time listeners and supporters and could use the support back all these years later to make her daughter's wish come true. It’s a longer post, but I’d appreciate it if you could read it and help our family out! Thank you for all you’ve provided over the years!

With the help of the community we can make her dreams come true and show her hard work truly does pay off. Thank you.

Meghan recently went to the National Cheerleading Association camp at Husson University in Bangor and won the Top American Cheerleading award. With it comes the opportunity to perform with Varsity Spirit All-Americans at the opening ceremony of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade and march with the parade as people line the streets of Wiakkiki Beach in Hawaii.

Meghan has started a GoFund Me to help raise the money needed to be a part of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. If you'd like to donate to help her out, hit the link below.
