Demi Lovato clapped back at troll who asked to "discuss a diet plan" with her.

On Tuesday (July 2), an Instagram user posted a paparazzi shot of the pop star getting into the car after a work out alongside the caption, “hey demi dm me so we can discuss a diet plan for you." This was a truly hurtful attempt to body shame Lovato, who's literally just living her best and healthiest life these days.

So, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer swiftly replied to the rude commenter, proving she's not only a pro when it comes to dealing with trolls, but that suggesting someone lose weight is dangerous and completely uncalled for.

“I actually am choosing not to diet and fall back into unhealthy behaviors at the risk of losing my sanity or mental health but thank you for the offer! Super sweet," she responded.

No one should body shame another person, especially someone who has dealt with an eating disorder in the past. In 2016, the Lovato opened up about her mother's battle with bulimia and how it really affected her growing up.

“Even though I was two or three-years-old, being around somebody who was 80 pounds and had an active eating disorder... it's hard not to grow up like that," she told American Way magazine. “My grandma had bulimia, my mum had it, I had it, and hopefully my kids won't have it, but it's kind of like an addiction. It's hereditary.”
