If You Put Together Soccer + Golf, You Get Foot Golf….and it’s Coming to Portland!

Our buddy, Bob Marley, 'Maine's King of Comedy,' was the first to try a new sport coming to Portland! It's 'Foot Golf,' a combination of soccer and golf.

Portland’s Riverside Golf Course is adding the soccer-golf hybrid to it's complex. General manager, Ryan Scott, told the Bangor Daily News that "it's a new sport that’s up and coming" with "260 across the country that have opened up since 2011.”

To play Foot Golf players kick soccer balls toward the holes instead of using golf balls and clubs. The nine hole course and will be open from Oct. 24 until Nov. 30
