Hope you enjoyed all of the sunshine and turkey over the last several days. It was nice to be spoiled with warmer than usual temps for turkey day along with ample amounts of sunshine for your Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. But alas, nothing lasts forever.

Get ready for some nasty weather to return to Maine on Sunday evening and be prepared for it to stick with us well into the beginning of the work week. And this is the perfect example of a storm that is going to be a complete mixed bag, depending on which part of the state you are in.

According to WMTW News 8, the storm will move in on Sunday evening and with it, the wind will start to pick up. Expect mild sustained winds with moderate gusts. Hopefully the combination of the wind and rain doesn't lead to any widespread power outages. But we will have to wait and see!

SNOW

As far as the snow goes for this one, this is exactly how we want it. Most of the inland towns are going to be spared as it looks like the majority of the snow is going to fall out in Western Maine and the mountains. Can I get an 'Amen!'?

RAIN

If you love rain, you're in luck. For most of Maine, this story is going to be a wet and rainy mess. As a matter of fact, WMTW reports that some minor coastal flooding is possible due to a high astronomical tide on Monday morning.

Travel impacts look to be minor, it's just going to be wet. If you're out in Western Maine, just use a little caution if you're out on the roads as it could be slippery.
