Another Celebrity Stopped at the A1 Diner in Gardiner, Maine
Hopper made the rounds during a recent visit to Maine.
David Harbour, who plays Sheriff Hopper on Stranger Things, was in Maine recently for a fundraiser for the Theater at Monmouth. He was a member of the theater in the mid-90s and has a soft spot for the place. He was on stage for 90 minutes taking questions and just chatting.
He's a super easygoing guy, and while spending a couple days in Maine, a guy's gotta eat. So, he had lunch at A1 Diner in Gardiner, a hot spot with a reputation for amazing food that attracts some pretty famous people.
A1 posted this on their Facebook page,
Celebrity sighting at A1 Diner? Stranger Things have happened! Many thanks to David Harbour for joining us for lunch today, and for bringing attention to The Monmouth Theater, where he once performed as a young actor.
David is awesome, but not the first and only celebrity to make A1 a stop on their Maine voyage. A1 was also featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri!
Come for the ambiance of an original Worcester Diner car #790, and stay for the food. Of course they do traditional diner fare, but they can also surprise with Greek Stuffed Flank Steak Roulade. Guy Fieri was impressed by the Mojito-glazed duck and recommends the potato hash, which they’ve been frying up for over 50 years.
Who will be the next celebrity to discover this great little authentic diner with some very wow food? Hey Brad Pitt, I'm talking to you!
