There is something amazing about finding a hiking spot that feels adventurous for kids without turning it into a survival mission for us parents. Don't worry, you don't have to stretch too much beforehand.

Where Are The Best Family-Friendly Hikes in Maine?

Sitting pretty along Casco Bay, this gem is a very family friendly hike. What makes it stand out isn't just the easy trails or views of the ocean, it's the exploration. The kiddos can hop from rock to rock in search of tiny sea creatures in the tide pools.

One of our favorites is to collect sea glass and shells, so much to find along the coastline.

Not to mention, the trails are manageable for younger or beginner hikers. One minutes you are walking through the gorgeous pine forests and the next, you are standing beside dramatic rock shoreline!

But here's a little extra convenient treat for you. Some folks don't realize that just nearby, you can stop at Wolfe's Neck Farm Café for a coffee, pastries, sandwiches and grab and go lunches!
