Prepare for a summer of laughter as New England's Funniest Comedian competition returns for 2023. Held at the vibrant Aura venue in Portland, this uproarious comedy extravaganza promises to leave you in stitches every Thursday at 8 pm from July 20th to August 24th, as well as Friday, August 25th.

Ian Stuart, a stand-up comedian and writer from Portland, will be hosting the competition. Ian is the founder of The Portland Maine Comedy Festival and The Maine Comedy All Stars.

Tom Shaw emerged as the triumphant comedian in New England's Funniest Comedian 2022, held last year.

For comedy enthusiasts eager to attend the side-splitting event rounds, tickets will be available for purchase starting this Friday, May 26, at 10 am. Note that attendees must be 18 years or older and have a valid ID for entry. Doors will open one hour before the scheduled event time.

July 20th - Qualifying Round 1

July 27th - Qualifying Round 2

August 3rd - Qualifying Round 3

August 10th - Qualifying Round 4

August 17th - Semi-Finals Round 1

August 24th - Semi-Finals Round 2
