Ellen Pompeo Speaking Up about McDreamy’s Death on Grey’s Anatomy

Ellen Pompeo, or as we all know her Meredith Shepard,  is now speaking up about the death of  Derek Sheppard on last week’s Grey’s Anatomy. She said "I have always said what keeps me going is the fans. Knowing we move you and inspire you,"

Grey’s creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes also issued a statement on Dr. Derek Shepard's fatal car wreck after the episode ran, saying, "Derek Shepherd is and will always be an incredibly important character – for Meredith, for me and for the fans. I absolutely never imagined saying goodbye to our 'Mcdreamy.'"

I have to tell you, I had not heard anything about it leading up to Grey’s last week. But, for some reason I stayed up to watch it and was very surprised to see what happened. Better yet, you have to have to see how Jon James took the news.
