Alicia Keys, Katy Perry + More to Perform at Obama’s Inaugural Ball

Katy Perry was a big supporter of President Obama during the 2012 presidential campaign, and Alicia Keys sang ‘No One’ at his 2009 inauguration. Both stars are among a diverse group of musicians lined up for the Inaugural Balls on Monday as Obama is officially sworn in for a second term.
For the official Inaugural Ball, Keys and Perry will be joined by fun., members of the ‘Glee‘ cast, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Far East Movement, hard rockers Soundgarden, and country singer Brad Paisley, among others.
Meanwhile, a second event known as the Commander-in-Chief’s Ball, which honors America’s armed forces, will feature Keys, Paisley, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson and Marc Anthony. That celebration will be streamed live on The Pentagon Channel’s website. Both events take place on the evening of Monday, Jan. 21, after Obama has taken the oath of office.
As previously reported, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor will all appear at the inauguration ceremony to perform patriotic songs, with Bey handling the national anthem.
