For its many highs and occasional lows, The CW's 'Arrow' delivered an engaging and well-plotted season, so we're eager to see more of it this fall. Details are light on what new challenges Oliver Queen will face in year two, but did you know a major scene was cut from season 1 finale "Sacrifice" that set up two characters' paths in season 2? Find out what we missed from 'Arrow's first season finale inside!

We're eager to check out the second season of The CW's DC Comics-adapted 'Arrow' this fall, which is said to be introducing several major DC characters into the fold, but it seems a major tease of season 2 was left on the cutting room floor of first season finale "Sacrifice." Speaking to TVLine, newly-minted series regular Colton Haynes previewed that an additional scene between his Roy Harper and Thea (Willa Holland) would have set up important context for season 2:

They cut out an entire scene that would’ve given a lot more away. It was a big scene … that might’ve told you the route that Thea is going, or the route that Roy is going. But I think they didn’t want to give too much away.

The scene in question would have taken place in between Thea's alleyway rescue of Roy, and his later acts of heroism, but CW producers offered no descriptive reason for the change. Deleted scenes aren't the only intriguing details to come from Haynes either, as the actor told MTV recently that "a few of the most important DC characters are going to be coming to Arrow, and quite possibly working in a team together."

We won't have to wait very long for details of 'Arrow's second season to emerge, but what say you? What vital scene between the future "Speedys" might have been left on the cutting room floor, and who would you like to see appear in 'Arrow' season 2?
