After the big rain storms that just hit Central Maine, the last thing people want to think about is the possibility of a hurricane, but while the season is almost over, there is still a possibility for a big storm to hit the region.Currently, Hurricane Joaquin, a Category 4 hurricane, is pounding the Bahamas, and the projected track shows it heading up the East Coast, though it looks like Maine will be spared from most, if not all of the storm.

But it's always a good idea to be prepared, and FEMA has produced a video with some hurricane preparedness tips.
