‘Ghostbusters’ Is Getting Re-Released for 30th Anniversary
The biggest problem with the concept of 'Ghostbusters 3' is the fact that 'Ghostbusters' still very much exists and is pretty much perfect. This fact will be reconfirmed when the original is re-released later this summer as part of the film's 30th anniversary celebration, which will also include a new Blu-ray release.
Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed Until 2015
In news that's disappointing but not at all surprising, the hotly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight video game has been pushed from its 2014 release date and won't hit shelves until 2015.
The news comes via Kotaku and it's only the latest in a series of high-profile releases getting bumped to next year...
How Thanos Will Appear in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’
When we first saw the villainous Thanos at the tail end of 'The Avengers,' fans knew what was coming. After all, you don't tease one of the biggest villains in the entirety of the Marvel universe without admitting that you're planning to translate the iconic "Infinity Gauntlet" storyline to the big screen. That probably won't happen until 'The Avengers 3,' but fret not, true believers: T
Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Maleficent’ Casts a Spell Over the Box Office
We're knee-deep in the summer movie season and the hits just keep on coming. Despite mixed buzz, 'Maleficent' opened very strong, not coming close to the massive numbers of the past few weekends, but certainly holding its own. However, the success of Disney's latest live action effort meant that the weekend's other big release, Seth MacFarlane's 'A Million Ways to Die in the West,' fared less well.
‘Transformers 4′ TV Spots Introduce New Robots, More Explosions
'Transformers 4' is purportedly a soft reboot of the franchise, setting up an entirely new set of adventures and carrying on with a mostly new human cast. However, director Michael Bay is still at the helm, so it's no surprise it still, for better or worse, feels like the same thing. You already know if that delights or horrifies you, and the latest TV spots aren't going to change your mind.

Bill Murray Crashes a Bachelor Party and Proves He’s Still Awesome
Bill Murray only gets cooler with age. Sure, the legendary actor may have gotten pickier with his choice of roles in in recent years, but he's made up for his reduced screen time by being the Most Awesome Guy On The Planet, appearing in random places and spreading oddball joy wherever he goes. The latest incident involves a bachelor party in Charleston, South Carolina, which Murray crashed to deli
Weekend Box Office Report: ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Rules the Box Office
The Memorial Day weekend brought with it the third Marvel superhero movie of 2014 and like 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' opened to over $90 million at the box office. Sure, people online keep on wondering if audiences are getting tired of comic book films, but the box office keeps on saying otherwise.
New Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer Teases the Most Immersive Dark Knight Simulator Yet
The latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer may lack the sheer dramatic oomph of the debut teaser, but it has something more important than impressive CG cutscenes: actual gameplay footage. Anyone can cut together a bunch of animated dramatic scenes and get people excited, but it takes inventive and fresh gameplay to make people actually fall in love with the finished product. So, how does the fourth
‘Big Hero 6′ Poster Jets In, Plus Watch Teaser for First Trailer
When Disney acquired Marvel, it was only a matter of time before the animated movies started coming. However, no one expected the first Disney-animated Marvel venture to be 'Big Hero 6,' which brings one of the most obscure superhero teams in comic book history to the big screen. The first trailer for the film arrives tomorrow, but to prepare for the big reveal, a poster and a brief teaser have made their way online.
‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ Trailer: Colin Firth Goes Full 007
Colin Firth is normally the last actor you'd imagine playing a suave and deadly secret agent in the James Bond mold, but he looks right at home in the trailer for 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' (formally known just as 'The Secret Service'). The Oscar-winning actor appears to be brilliantly cast against type in the Matthew Vaughn film, which sees a veteran super-spy taking a young delinquent under his wing and training him to be England's next great secret defender.
‘Harry Potter’ Spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts’ May Add Alfonso Cuaron as Director
Well, this is an unexpected and perfect surprise: the latest internet buzz suggests that the absolutely brilliant 'Gravity' director Alfonso Cuaron is in talks to helm the Harry Potter spin-off 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.' Take all of this with a grain of salt until an official announcement arrives, but it's difficult to imagine a more perfect choice for the job.
Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Godzilla’ is King of the Box Office
Everyone expected 'Godzilla' to take the number one spot at the box office this weekend, but few people saw it doing business that rivals 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2.' 'Godzilla' didn't just win the box office this weekend, it conquered it, proving that after all of these years, the king of the monsters is still a massive draw.
‘SNL': Lonely Island and Pharrell Williams Sing About Giving All of the Ladies Some Hugs
When Andy Samberg was a cast member on 'SNL,' he routinely set the internet on fire with his digital shorts, but none were as popular as his Lonely Island music videos, which saw him, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone performing hip-hop music that often sounded like the real thing. Well, at least it would sound like the real thing if the subject matter wasn't totally crazy. With Samberg performing
‘SNL’ and Andy Samberg Ask “When Will the Bass Drop?”
This season of 'SNL' has been all about truly weird and experimental digital shorts, so it only makes sense that guest host Andy Samberg (who helped pioneer them in the first place) would help make one of the strangest. There's almost no dialogue in this sketch and the joke isn't immediately accessible, but it's the kind of specific and eclectic comedy that 'SNL' tends to excel at when it wants to
‘SNL': Seth Meyers, Bill Hader and Martin Short Crash Andy Samberg’s Opening Monologue
It can be an odd experience when former 'SNL' cast members return to host the show. On one level, it's refreshing to see some of your favorite faces return to the stage. On another level, it's a reminder of what the show has lost (especially in a "rebuilding" season like this one). So the season finale's opening monologue was a bittersweet affair, with guest host Andy Samberg being joine
New ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Poster and Set Photos Are Out of This World, Trailer Dropping Monday
We're pretty much pre-sold on 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' and the new poster and handful of behind-the-scenes images and trailer teaser aren't going to change our mind much in either direction.
