A fun event is planned at Charming Charlie, located at the Marketplace at Augusta, this weekend. You can find people from Conquer Chiari there raising awareness for chiari malformation. A portion of the sales will go towards our fundraising goal.
Mike Poulin had two lives, kind of. He was an incredible DJ for Townsquare Media. But, he also loved his other job at Gallant Therapy Services. Poulin's passing came to a shock to everyone in the community. To keep his legacy going, GTS has created the Mike Poulin Scholarship Fund.
Looking for something nifty to do with your kids at home? These are so much fun, even adults find them intriguing and therapeutic to play with. So, thanks to Central Maine's Smarty Pants: Emma-Leigh & Brennan and assistant, Chloe.
This is an extremely touchy subject with some. But it clearly something, most of us, are faced with on a daily basis. Should you give money to pandhandlers vs. local charities? Are you supporting addictions, instead of genuinely helping someone who's in a bad place? A Wyoming police department is sharing this message with EVERYONE...what do you think?
Last week, we lost our dear friend and coworker, Mike Poulin. Mikey the Poulin was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a legend that will never be forgotten. Memorial services are planned for Pooh-Daddy and are as follows:
So, I recently went to NY with a friend. Meg was outside of our hotel getting some fresh air when she saw something weird in the sky. There are A LOT of airports around us. JFK...Laguardia...Newark. It could be a plane...right? But something is seriously wrong if you're on a plane flying in this crazy manner.
I was reminiscing a little bit yesterday. Now, I didn't grow up in Maine. My dad was in the Army and we were stationed in Germany for most of my childhood. But, there were a few years when I flew to Maine and spent the summertime with my grandparents. I remember my grandfather taking me to a waterpark in Waterville.
Innocent until proven guilty. Here's your chance to be a top notch detective. You could be the next Sherlock. It's all up to you now. So here it goes...The Augusta Police Dept. needs your help identifying the folks in these pictures. Can you do it?
A friend captured a picture of this van parked, in Augusta, at the Capitol building. I've seen cars in rough shape...but this takes the cake. I've heard that duct tape can be used for anything. I guess this is a GREAT advertisement validating that exact point.
The number 6 might night seem like a lot to people. But in these cases...when it comes to children...even the number 1 is too much. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, there are currently 6 kids missing dating all the way back to 1971. Maybe you can help.
