Gov. LePage and first lady Ann LePage will greet guests tomorrow (November 3rd) during the second of three food drives scheduled at the Blaine House. They will be doing this 10am to 1pm. Then, after you make a donation, you can check the place out!
Augusta Native and U.S. Olympian Julia Clukey was with her nephew Wednesday night enjoying the 92 Moose Free Family Halloween Party and was outed by my very observant eye! Actually, I was tipped off by a couple of other party goers that she was in the house so I scanned the crowd and found her!
Like Halloween is not a great day anyway, with the 92 Moose Walgreens Free Family Halloween Party, but it is our traditional visit from the Farmers' Almanac with Peter Geiger. We have tons of fun questions and prizes. Peter has a tradition of a password that IF you use when you trick-or-treat at his home on Brentwood Avenue in Lewiston you get extra candy. EXTRA CANDY!
Join us for the 8th Annual '92 Moose Walgreens FREE Family Halloween Party,' 4pm-6pm, at the Augusta Armory, Wednesday, October 31st. The party is for kids 12 and under and their parents/guardians. Enjoy safe free Halloween fun, games and great music. Plus win prizes with the costume & coloring contests!
These are the Halloween Helpers! They are filling the goodie bags we will be giving out at the 92 Moose Walgreen's Free Family Halloween Party on Halloween from 4-6p at the Augusta Armory for kids 12 and under and their families.
I spent some time a few years ago helping the Augusta Salvation Army get ready for its Christmas distribution. I learned a lot about what they do, but the biggest lesson to me was, to make it all work they have to pre-plan. And that is where you come in, right now is application time.
And yes, Jon and I won the pie! The 2nd Annual Augusta Food Bank Dinner and Auction was a big hit! It raised thousands for the Augusta Food Bank.
