2 weeks ago I had never written a story about domestic violence. I'd talked about it plenty on the radio but never actually took the initiative to bring the subject up on my own accord. Suddenly, a week or two ago, that all changed after two horrific stories surfaced, both of which involved men murdering the women they were suppose to love. I wondered, how can men have women convinced they are so loved, when they harbor so much hatred in their hearts? I can't answer that. I just know it's so.

3 weeks ago Jessica over at the China Dine-ah loves pets. She has Great Danes, cats and even had a big iguana. She's also had an Axolotl. When she told me it was a fish with legs and gills that smiled, I was skeptical but I believed her. So I Googled it. There it was, on my phone, smiling at me...an Axolotl. A fish-like amphibian that's, apparently, always in a good mood. Grab a tissue as this video will make you cry...or laugh 'til you cry. It's an "in memoriam" piece....
