Just curious of your thoughts about this. At what age does your child "age out" of this parent/member with infant parking spot? When I hear the word "infant" in think of a baby who can't walk yet. However if you still often to always carry your child through a parking lot because of drivers not seemingly watching by being preoccupied with grabbing a parking spot, then is it okay?
Wow, what a weekend so far and it's not over yet. I went out Saturday morning to rake for an hour, then all of us got together to do yard work for the rest of the morning. We took a break for lunch at about 11 am then put Vikki down for a nap. Dylan our 13 year old watched her while we took off to drop Justin off at a birthday party and run a few errands.
It was about a year ago that we got serious about looking for a house. We had lived in apartments up until finally taking the plunge into home ownership last June. As hectic as it is to own a home, I don’t regret it. Last year the timing was right with the three kids, little to no debt and housing prices were at basically an all-time low.
Today is Earth Day. How are you celebrating? When I think of the environment, I think of industrial pollution, consumption and disposal.
A sigh of relief of sorts because April vacation is almost over. I kid, sort of. What a week. Redoing the kids’ rooms and we’re still on Justin’s, it’s the last of the three but all rooms were and are more work then anticipated.

Our summer vacation this year is a trip to Halifax, where I was raised for a few days, then we’re off to Edmundston, New Brunswick. We’re bringing my mother in-law and she is a first timer to Halifax. We’ll probably check out Peggy’s Cove, the downtown waterfront and drive by all of the places that meant something to me. For example my old schools, my childhood home, maybe a few work places too.
Earlier this week we bought the paint to brighten up the kids' rooms. One room, Vikki's is now complete and in a little bit we're attacking room number two, Dylan's room. Vikki's room was a sage green. It was okay. However, it was a flat paint and wasn't very designed for our daughter.
Last month we had ideas and thoughts about home improvements. We wanted to redo our floors in the kitchen dining room and hall way, we may still but so far on the back-burner. We wanted to create a back patio. That will wait until next year or maybe the year after.
