NFL- A Stephen Gostkowski Field Goal in the final seconds gave the Patriots a 27-26 win over the New York Giants yesterday. In the final play of the first quarter, Julian Edelman broke a bone in his foot. He’ll be out for a while but could be back before the end of the season. The Pats are now 9-0 on the season.
Cardinals beat the Seahawks 39-32 in the late game.
Tonight: Houston Texans are in Cincinnati against the Bengals
High school football- Winslow, Brunswick, MCI and Oak Hill will all be going to the state championships.
NBA- Celtics beat Oklahoma City, 100-85 last night. Tonight the C’s are in Houston against the Rockets.
Maine Red Claws beat Canton 106-99 in Ohio Saturday. On Thursday, Maine plays the Raptors 905 in Ontario.
AHL- Portland Pirates skated past Providence 3-2 yesterday. Wednesday, they’ll be in Syracuse.
NHL- Bruins host San Jose tomorrow. Saturday they beat Detroit 3-1.
College hockey- The Black Bears fell to U. Mass Lowell, 6-0 yesterday at the Alfond Arena. The Bears are now 0-8-3 overall.
