MasterCard is trying out a new technology that lets online shoppers authorize a transaction with a snapshot of their face instead of a password. According to USA Today, with a blink, a facial recognition scan converts your features into a string of ones and zeros, and that, not your actual picture, is processed. Gotta get me the app for this. Oh and a MasterCard.

P.S.  See...the selfie of me would not work for this.  The app would not be able to see my blink.  Part of its security systems and diabolical scheme to make sure you take off your sunglasses.
