Chester Woman Dies In House Fire

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the body of a woman has been found in the rubble of her mobile home in Chester, near Lincoln.  Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland said the fire was discovered by the woman's grandson, who also lives at the home on Loop Road.  He had left on an errand and found the mobile home on fire when he returned about 10 am.  The dead woman is 78 year old Shirley Day.  State Police investigators have joined fire marshals at the scene to assist them with the investigation.
