Ed Sheeran Reveals Early 2013 Headlining Tour Dates

Currently in the middle of his totally sold-out VH1 You Oughta Know Tour, Ed Sheeran has announced a new round of U.S. tour dates in larger venues in January and February 2013.

The young Brit singer-songwriter, whose debut album '+' made him a superstar in his home country and an emerging success story in the U.S., will play an additional 19 shows over 30 days starting in Houston on Jan. 17. Noteworthy dates include NYC's Radio City Music Hall on Jan. 30 and the Hollywood Palladium on Feb. 9. Most of the shows go on sale on Sept. 28, with earlier presales for members of the singer's fan club.

Sheeran's current American tour runs through Oct. 6, after which he returns to the U.K. to continue his relentless touring schedule before coming back to the States for the next round of shows. He'll be appearing on 'Ellen' on Oct. 4 to perform the single 'The A Team,' which has crept up to No. 32 on the Pop Songs chart. Sheeran also has a duet featured on Taylor Swift's upcoming album 'Red,' which drops on Oct. 22.
