Have You Had Enough of All the Conference Realignments? — Sports Survey of the Day

On Monday Maryland announced that after 59 years in the Atlantic Coast Conference, it was leaving for the Big Ten. Rutgers will be following them, bringing the total number of Big Ten teams to 14. Numerical dissonance aside, are you getting tired of all this conference changing?
To replace Maryland, one of its founding schools, the ACC is expected to lure the University of Connecticut away from the Big East, a conference that has suffered severe losses in the recent spate of teams switching leagues.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen Texas A&M and Missouri leave the Big 12 and join the SEC; West Virginia join the Big 12 from the Big East; Colorado head to the Pac-12; Nebraska join the Big Ten; Syracuse and Pittsburgh join the ACC; and many more moves in an unprecedented wave of conference realignment. No one knows when the merry-go-round will stop, but it’s getting hard to keep track of what school plays where.
