This Morning on the Moose Morning Show we got to talk with Mayor of Augusta, Dave Rollins and Amanda Bartlett from the Augusta Housing Authority.
Groundbreaking ceremonies to mark the beginning of a project to convert the former Hodgkins Middle School into housing for senior citizens, planned for Wednesday (Sept 30) , have been canceled because of expected heavy rain, BUT public tours of the building will still take place today. Public tours of the building, providing one last chance to see the school building still largely set up as a school, are set for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.Attendees may also still bring Hodgkins memorabilia with them to the school if they wish to contribute items to be displayed in the building after it is converted to housing. Officials are seeking Hodgkins memorabilia to display in the corridor of the building.
