Ahead of Storks, the Warner Bros. animation team has put together a short called The Master: A LEGO Ninjago Short that you can enjoy before all of the birds and babies mayhem. The short introduces us to Master Wu, voiced by Jackie Chan, who will appear in The LEGO Ninjago Movie in 2017.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie features six young ninja who live on an island called Ninjago. They’re warriors by night, using cool vehicles and gadgets and all of their skills to defend their island home against villains and monsters, but by day they’re just regular teens trying to make it through high school.

The short (via USA Today) features Jackie Chan’s Master fighting a tiny chicken while his dojo (made of animated LEGO bricks, natch) crumbles all around him.

Other voice talents appearing in the film are Dave Franco as Lloyd, Michael Peña as Kai, Abbi Jacobson as Nya, Kumail Nanjiani as Jay, Zach Woods as Zane, Fred Armisen as Cole, Justin Theroux as Garmadon and Olivia Munn as Koko.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie is a spinoff from The LEGO Movie, 2014’s smash hit that’s already spawned a sequel (called, appropriately, The LEGO Movie Sequel), as well as The LEGO Batman Movie, featuring Will Arnett’s fan favorite LEGO Batman character. The LEGO Ninjago Movie will leap into theaters, Mantis style, on September 22, 2017.
