Justin Bieber Performs Acoustic Version of ‘Boyfriend’ on ‘Ellen’
To promote his new ‘Believe Acoustic’ EP, a performance of Justin Bieber on Ellen DeGeneres’ namesake show aired on Tuesday (Jan. 29.) He delivered an acoustic version of ‘Boyfriend,’ showing off his swag, swag, swag in an all-black ensemble, accessorized with more gold chains than Mr. T and bright red kicks.
Despite a minor technical difficulty in the beginning, where has asked to have the volumed turn up and then down and a little mic feedback mid-perf, it was just fine! The Biebs even rubbed his arm when he sang the line about “Keep you on my arm girl / Never let you go.” So it was animated.
It was as swagtastic and swagtacular as it gets. It was also a bluesier rendering than we are used to. It showed the scope of the Billboard cover boy‘s talent.
