Following the horrific terrorist attack at Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour stop in Manchester that left nearly two dozen people dead and many more injured, Miley Cyrus paid tribute to her pop star friend, as well as all those affected by the heinous act, with her performance of "Malibu" on The Voice finale tonight (May 23).

Backed by a waterfall projection and surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flowers at her feet, effectively recreating the song's accompanying nature-set video, the singer peacefully crooned her way through the dreamy Song of Summer '17 contender.

"I'd like to dedicate this song to my good friend, Ariana Grande, and everyone who experienced that horrific attack yesterday. Our hearts are with you," she announced before launching into the performance.

As opposed to the hundreds of colorful balloons that came cascading from the roof of her 2017 Billboard Music Awards performance, giant bubbles gently floated through the air as Miley sang instead. (Hardcore Smiler Blake Shelton, however, came prepared with a handful of his own back-up balloons.)
