Bad news, Smilers: it has been announced that all remaining U.S. dates left on Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour have been postponed due to her hospitalization in Kansas City attributed to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

CNN confirms that all remaining U.S. stops -- which includes Philadelphia; Long Island, New York and Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut -- will be postponed until August. Those concerts will be added to the new August lineup which includes shows that were cancelled this week in Kansas City, St. Louis, Nashville and Louisville. Two new stops at Pittsburgh and Chicago were added to the August schedule as well.

Cyrus has had a rough month so far: On Apr. 2, the singer revealed that her dog Floyd had died after an accident involving a coyote. The 'Wrecking Ball' singer was stricken with grief and even broke down live during a show in Boston. Miley's mother, Trish Cyrus, gave her a new dog named Moonie, but Miley had to give the dog away when she felt that caring for a new puppy was too soon.

Earlier this week, Cyrus was hospitalized for what was described as an allergic reaction to an antibiotic called Cephalex. The 21-year-old singer was taking the drug for a sinus infection, although some reports have suggested that the grief over her dog led to her illness. An official statement from Miley on her Twitter account reveals that she will continue to be treated for her reaction, which could last as many as 27 days.

The European stretch of the Bangerz Tour begins in Amsterdam on May 2 and those dates are still on schedule to take place.

Below are the new tour dates for the rescheduled U.S. shows:

8/1 Uniondale, NY - Nassau Coliseum
8/2 Philadelphia, PA - Wells Fargo Center
8/4 Pittsburgh, PA - TBD
8/6 Charlotte, NC - Time Warner Cable Arena
8/7 Nashville, TN - Bridgestone Arena
8/9 Louisville, KY - KFC YUM! Center
8/10 St. Louis, MO - Scottrade Center
8/12 Kansas City, MO - Sprint Center
8/14 Chicago, IL - United Center

We're sad to see that Miley is still recovering but we have no doubts about her ability to bounce back stronger for the rest of her world tour!
