Online HBO Subscriptions Available 2015

HBO will still look to grow cable subscribers BUT they are looking to sell HBO service separately, as an online service. In 2015, you will be able to subscribe to HBO just like you do Hulu or Netflix. SO if you have internet you will be able to get HBO...without cable or satellite. 

They are still working out the details and how to do this without upsetting the cable and satellite companies. So, HBO has not giving out to many details on price or launch date. Of course there was immediate speculation that the Internet version of HBO might be differentiated in some way from the service that cable and satellite subscribers receive.  It’s a cool idea; I hope it works out for them!
