The Baseball Hall of Fame welcomed it's newest class yesterday (July 26) at Cooperstown, New York.

One of the Boston Red Sox all-time great pitchers, Pedro Martinez, was enshrined in his first year of eligibility.

Pedro was an eight-time All-Star and amassed 219 wins and won the Cy Young Award three times with the Sox. He led the majors in ERA five times, notched the pitching crown in 1999 by leading the American League in wins, ERA and strikeouts and was an integral part of the Red Sox winning the World Series in 2004 for the first time in 86 years.
