Damariscotta Ready for Another Amazing ‘Pumpkinfest + Regatta’

The annual Damariscotta Pumkinfest and Regatta kicks off with some activities this weekend and runs right through Columbus Day.

This weekend it's the Volunteer-Growers’ Weigh-Off on Saturday with the official Great Pumpkin Commonwealth weigh-off, Sunday. It's the State of Maine’s largest weigh-off, featuring the jaw-dropping total purse of $10,000. Last year's winner came in over 1700 pounds.
