‘River of Trees’ Holiday Event Coming to Downtown Augusta

This is so exciting and fun!!!  The Augusta Downtown Alliance is planning ‘River of Trees’ this holiday season.  It is to have some fun, focus on the wonderful things happening in Downtown Augusta and support the restoration efforts of the Colonial Theater.

The River of Trees event will be held on the weekends of Friday November 25th, Sat the 26^th ,which is also Small Business Saturday and the Augusta Tree Lighting and Sun the 27^th.  It will also run Friday December 2st, Sat the 3rd & Sun the 4^th.

There will be business to donate a decorated artificial tree lit with LED lights and non-glass ornaments along with over $500 worth of fun stuff on the tree. Visitors will have an opportunity to not only look at and enjoy the trees…but to WIN them as well! There will be other fun holiday stuff going on as well!

If you have a business, group, organization or you are just a central Maine community member who would love to take part in celebrating and supporting Downtown Augusta AND have your business/group seen by thousands of people THIS is a great project in which to take part.
