Today (June 11) is National Corn on the Cob Day. According to Food.com, "etiquette experts claim the correct way to eat corn on the cob is to butter and season a row or two at a time and then eat them, typewriter style."
I'm so lucky to have my family close by me. I'm also lucky we're not dysfunctional. We love each other and get along wonderfully. Sometimes I wish we could spend more times like we did on this day of apple picking. Because we don't do family activities of this magnitude too often, though, they seem all the more sweet.

Well, well, well. Love it or hate it, everyone has a feeling about candy corn. Me? I can take it or leave it. I'd probably like it more if I could butter it and eat it off the cob, bun no can do....
