March 8, 2013 It is always great to see and talk with someone that is so nice, like Elizabeth Vanderweide. I first met Elizabeth a few years ago because of the Harold Alfond College Challenge. Personally, I think she has one of the coolest jobs around. She helps people be aware and take advantage of money for secondary education.
February 15, 2013 I am a college student, what they call an “adult learner”. I am more “adult” than some in my program, less “adult” than others. By “adult” I mean…old. I have been doing since fall of 2008. This May I am due to graduate from Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield. This will be my first college degree. And this is how I am managing to keep the end in sight.

December 3, 2012 School for thousands of public school students is about to get quite a bit longer. Five states will add at least 300 hours of learning time to the calendar in some schools starting in 2013. Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Tennessee will take part in the test.
