The annual 'Whatever Family Festival,' presented by the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, begins Saturday (June 21) with the day-long 'Greater Gardiner River Festival.' Gardiner Man Claims “I’m the Lord” in Court Appearance for Killing His Father [VIDEO]

Leroy Smith III of Gardiner made his first court appearance (May 8) today. He's accused of killing his father, 56-year-old Leroy Smith II at their Gardiner home on Cannard Street. His father’s remains were found Monday (May 5) in numerous trash bags left in a wooded area off Lincoln Street in Richmond, about eight miles from their apartment.
