Well a good time had by all. The Bench was full people laughing, munching and sipping. The Bruins were on as well which made it fun. They were winning too which made it even better. Subject to change, but as of now, Wednesday is karaoke and Thursday is Trivia.

January 7, 2013 Downtown Gardiner is seeing the benefits of their downtown holiday program. This past holiday season, Gardiner and building landlords allowed pop up businesses to set up shop rent-free. Three businesses took advantage and one is now staying.

December 5, 2012 Augusta and Gardiner will each open for three hours to issue marriage licenses Saturday, December 29. They are not normally open on weekends, but this is a special case. December 29 is the first day same-sex couples in Maine can get married.
November 9, 2012 The Gardiner councilors say they are not moving forward with new restrictions on where some sex offenders can live. The councilors said that move that should be made on a legislative level. Augusta councilors agreed to study a possible residency restriction for sex offenders and then bring it back to the council for debate.
September 6, 2012 When Sargent Isaiah "Ike" Peppard submitted the Gardiner Police for the honor of presenting the colors at Fenway Park, he certainly hoped but never expected to be chosen. But then he got the call from the Red Sox organization and he let Chief James Toman know that on Friday, September 7th, Gardiner would be doing the honors before the Sox/Jays game.
August 30, 2012 I moved to the Central Maine area in the fall of 1987. The fall after the big flood. I moved into Downtown Gardiner. I have always thought Gardiner was one of the most charming communites and has a perfect little downtown area. Now, back in olden days of the late 80’s Gardiner looked a little different than it does today...
