The rivalry between Lady Gaga and Madonna, which was started, stoked and supported by Madonna with her near-constant onstage disses of Gaga, nearly came to an end in the Bronx last month. Rumor has it that Madonna extended an olive branch and offered native New Yorker (and Yankee fan) Gaga a chance to duet onstage when Madge played Yankee Stadium. Gaga turned her down, though!
Apparently Madonna's warranty as bestie has expired, leading Gwyneth Paltrow to trade her in for a younger, prettier model.
And why was Madge was kicked to the curb like last season's thigh-high boots? Because Gwynnie wants someone she can control nurture.
Madonna really likes to beat a dead horse, doesn't she? The singer dissed her (much younger) rival Lady Gaga onstage again, this time in Atlantic City. Madge dedicated her performance of her Golden Globe-winning song 'Masterpiece' to Gaga, and she added a nasty insult to the "dedication." Doesn't she have anything better to do than take cheap pot shots at Gaga? This rivalry is so January
This is not how Madonna wanted to kick off the U.S. leg of her MDNA World Tour. The Material Girl was on the receiving end of boos and expletive-laden chants for showing up fashionably late last night in Philadelphia, but she later won back the crowd and apologized for her tardiness.
History could repeat itself this October in Los Angeles. According to the “official” MDNA tour Twitter account, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, both of whom made out with Madonna onstage at the 2003 MTV VMAs, may be appearing onstage with the Material Girl.
