It's sponsored by the VA Maine Healthcare Systems to raise awareness of the needs of Maine's homeless veterans and to support employee health and wellness. It's estimated that at any given time there are more than 100 homeless veterans in Maine, suffering from lack of a place to live and other basic necessities. This is a great, fun way you can help.

Plans are underway for the 6th Annual Homeless Veterans Benefit Concert. Legendary Maine country artist Debbie Myers began the event years ago by recruiting other musicians to perform a benefit for homeless veterans in Maine.

This year's show will be bigger than ever. It's on September 20, at the Augusta Civic Center. It's a full day of fun and great music from 12 noon until 11:30 pm.
