The Worst Kind of Morning to Drive

Icy start to the day
Icy start to the day
Coming down my culdesac, I feared I was going to land in the ditch. I had little control coming down the hill on my private road. Granted, it’s not maintained like municipal roads, but this was a pre-cursor to what was ahead…

There is a winter weather advisory until 7am but roads, especially side ones, will be slippery for longer than that so please use caution. These kinds of conditions can deceive the best of drivers, especially young ones. Drive like it’s ALL ice and you’ll be in pretty good shape. And watch out for others who just don’t seem to get it. They’re out in large numbers.
