Tornadoes Reported In Western Maine

UPDATE (7:30 PM on Sunday 7/2/17): The National Weather Service has confirmed that 2 tornadoes developed in Sebago near West Shore Road and in Bridgton near Highland Lake.  They were ranked EF0, the least intense rating for a tornado.

On Saturday evening, severe storms did significant damage to the area around the town of Bridgton.  Some people reported seeing tornadoes or water spouts.

According to WGME,the storms brought heavy rains that downed trees closed down portions of Route 302.
